Each year, PPI files the Annual Return/Report Form 5500 Schedule A for the ACSA and BIEB Group Insurance Trusts. This filing includes all coverages provided and administered through the Trusts, eliminating the need for Trust members to file for these coverages. As a Direct Filing Entity (DFE), PPI files a consolidated Form 5500 on behalf of the ACSA and BIEB Trusts, meaning multiple client information and coverages are grouped together onto a single Schedule A based on several factors, including carrier, coverage type, and policy year dates. Individual clients are not typically able to reconcile their specific coverage information with the filing.
The 5500 Form Filing Letter includes a list of coverages specific to a clients’ plans that were included in the PPI filing and is available to clients with online billing by logging into this website and following the instructions in the document attached below.
